Defense Point Security is currently seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst in Washington, D.C.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security configuration report bases assets.
  • Monitor security configuration on all assets
  • Produce and ensure all the latest USGCB (US Government Configuration Baseline) or Common Secure configurations are updated in accordance with the latest NIST update.
  • Ensure the endpoint manager or client agents are installed and configured for all Agency workstations and servers.
  • Develop operational procedures, operator's guide, and user support guides for all report criteria; and ensure or produce weekly deviation reports for all assets with the Standard Configuration Documents (SCD).
  • Facilitate and participate in compliance reviews, architecture reviews, Plan of Action & Milestone resolution, and report on program status.
  • Participate in on-site evaluations for compliance with policy and provide technical assistance, analysis, and oversight on critical IT security issues.
  • Helps promote awareness of security issues among management and customers, and ensures sound security principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals.

Job Qualifications:

  • This position requires US Citizenship due to our Federal contractual obligations.
  • 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with USGCB or Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), NSA Guides, and National Checklist Program (NCP)
