Defense Point Security is currently seeking a Cyber Assurance Engineer with an active Secret level security clearance in Lakewood, Colorado.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the client's efforts to design, develop, and deploy FISMA complaint solutions that include Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and consideration of personally identifiable information

Job Requirements:

  • This position requires US Citizenship due to our Federal contractual obligation
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years experience with FISMA related activities to include system security plans, contingency plans, incident response, configuration management, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and training requirements
  • Experience applying NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management principles, interpreting requirements, and developing implementation guidance
  • Five years experience writing policy, procedure, guidance, standards, and instructional materials in support of security
  • Experience working with interagency teams to implement FISMA compliant solutions that meet current business needs and requirements that also optimize existing security architecture
  • Knowledge and experience with Federal Privacy Requirements
