Defense Point Security is currently seeking an Audit Liaison Specialist in Washington, D.C.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the client with the verification and resolution of audit findings
  • Maintain a performance metrics tracker, verify audit findings, propose actions to address the findings, and prepare a response demonstrating resolution of findings
  • Act as a liaison in support of all audits and interact with the Office of Inspector General or other authorized auditor on behalf of the client
  • Support growth of junior resources, scheduled audits and compliance reviews
  • Assist in responding to weaknesses identified in audits through testing, assessment, analysis, and remediation

Job Qualifications:

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship due to federal contractual obligations
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in IT security, including Certification and Accreditation and/or IT security risk analysis/advice, preferably in support of the Federal government
  • 3 years of information security experience with a focus on client data protection policy and process
  • 3 years of experience with implementation and compliant of security controls
  • Knowledge of Federal Government C&A practices and policies, particularly ICS 503, FISMA, NISP SP 800-53, and DHS 4300
